At WAY Music Studio we support young people who face disadvantage through music.
Our aim is to support young people gain creative skills, build confidence, and develop pathways into further education, training, and careers in music.
Our Programmes
Music-based Mentoring
We deliver 12-weeks of music based mentoring tailoring the support to each young person needs, abilities and interests. This involves music writing, creation and production for a wide range of genres.
Our aim is to enable change through music.
Alternative Provision
We hands-on sessions in our music studios as alternative provision. Young people explore: writing, recording, and producing music; beat making with Logic Pro; drum and keyboard skills.
Music Collective
We gather a group of young musicians at different stages in their music journey. Together we learn from guest industry professionals and collaborate on writing, recording and producing original tracks.
Our aim is to develop a vibrant community of young musicians from different backgrounds.

The Studio
The studios are fully accessible and equipped with industry-standard instruments and technology, providing opportunities for first-time access and for the development emerging talent and career development opportunities.
