The data that we hold about you is kept securely in paper and electronic formats and is managed in accordance with current Data Protection Law. By participating in the project, WAY Beacons will offer relevant support and offer to make referrals to additional services on your behalf. They will need to use your personal details to do this. You will always be made aware of which service you are being offered and the name of the organisation that will receive your personal data. We will only share data with our authorised partners – Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Wiltshire Council and Swindon Borough Council, other support agencies that you are currently or have previously been involved with, and your parents/carers.
By consenting to participate in the WAY Beacons Project you are agreeing to the collection and use of personal data by WAY UK and WAY Swindon (a Gateway Project) in accordance with the above purposes and our Data Protection Policies in accordance with the above purposes and our Data Protection Policy. Your personal data will be stored securely on an encrypted server and retained for a period no longer than 2 years. At this point if you are still participating in the project, you will be contacted to renew your consent, or, if you are no longer engaged with the project, your data will be deleted. You are entitled to withdraw consent at any time. If you withdraw consent your personal data will be deleted.
